Wild Ridge started in a shed with a welder, a knackered old wagon and a simple idea: make 4x4 gear that actually survives the tracks less travelled.
We're an Australian-owned 4x4 parts and fabrication outfit run by people who actually spend their weekends — and a fair few weeks — out on the tracks. What began as building gear for our own rigs turned into a workshop and store kitting out other people's.
Gear should be tested where it's used, not just on a spec sheet. If we wouldn't run it on our own vehicle out past the black stump, we won't sell it. That's why we stock proven brands and fabricate our own bar work, sliders and fit-outs to a standard we'd trust with our own recovery.
Buying quality parts and getting them fitted or fabricated shouldn't mean three different shops. We do both: a store stocked with gear that earns its place, and a workshop that designs and builds the custom steel and touring setups you can't just buy off a shelf.
Being Australian owned means you get advice from people who know the conditions, the vehicles and the tracks — not a call centre reading a script. Ring us up and you'll talk to someone who's probably fixed the exact thing you're asking about, on the side of a track, at dusk.
